Manage Permissions

Permissions determine what each person can do with shared content. Set permissions at the Space, Project, or Issue level.

Change a Collaborator’s Role

1. Open the Issue or Project.
2. Open the share dialog (⌘S).
3. Click the role dropdown next to the person’s name.
4. Select the new role: Viewer, Commenter, or Editor.

The person’s permissions update immediately.

Space-Level vs Item-Level Permissions

• Space members inherit their Space role on all content within the Space.
• Sharing an individual Issue or Project grants additional access at that item level.
• Item-level sharing can grant access to people who are not Space members.
