Use the Timeline
The timeline is the activity feed at the bottom of every Issue. Use it to post progress updates, share files, and track changes.
Post an Update
Section titled “Post an Update”- Scroll to the timeline at the bottom of the Issue detail view.
- Click the text input area.
- Type your update. Use rich text formatting as needed.
- Click Post or press
⌘Enter.
The update appears in the timeline with your name and timestamp.
Attach Files
Section titled “Attach Files”- Click the attachment icon in the timeline input, or drag a file into the timeline area.
- Select a file from your device.
The file appears as an attachment in the timeline entry. Supported types include images, PDFs, and common document formats.
React to Updates
Section titled “React to Updates”- Hover over a timeline entry.
- Click the reaction icon to add an emoji reaction.
Reactions appear inline on the timeline entry.
View Activity History
Section titled “View Activity History”The timeline shows all activity on the Issue:
- Status changes
- Assignment changes
- Content edits
- File uploads
- Manual updates
System events (status changes, moves, etc.) appear as compact entries. Manual updates from team members appear with full formatting and author attribution.
