How Community Works

Community is a public layer on top of Spaces. Any Space can be set to public, making its Issues visible to everyone on the platform. The community feed aggregates all public Issues into one stream at /public.

A public Space uses the same features as a private Space: Projects, Issues, AI Teammates, roles, and permissions. The difference is visibility and access.

A public Space still belongs to its home Space for billing and administration.

The feed at /public aggregates public Issues from all public Spaces into one stream. Anyone can access it, including users without an account.

Any signed-in user can contribute to a public Space by creating Issues and posting updates. Contributions follow the same Issue lifecycle as private work: create, configure, execute, complete. When an Issue completes, memory compilation propagates upward to the parent Project and Space.

AI Teammates in public Spaces operate in community mode without configuration. Your AI Teammate reads Space context and team structure to classify incoming Issues, tag the right people, welcome new contributors, and bridge internal context for outsiders.

Everything a user does in public Spaces builds their Community Profile:

  • Contribution Graph — Visual map of activity over time, weighted by impact.
  • Reputation Score — Measures quality over volume. An Issue that unblocks others earns more than a routine completion. Recent contributions weigh more than old ones.
  • Highlight Reel — Top achievements, auto-selected by impact, displayed as shareable stories.
