Make a Space Public
Set a Space to public to surface its Issues in the community feed. Anyone can view public Issues. Signed-in users can contribute.
Set a Space to Public
Section titled “Set a Space to Public”- Navigate to the Space you own or admin.
- Open Settings: click the gear icon in the sidebar, or press
⌘,. - Click the Privacy tab.
- Set privacy to Public.
The Space and its public Issues now appear in the community feed at /public.
Control Issue Privacy Within a Public Space
Section titled “Control Issue Privacy Within a Public Space”Individual Issues inside a public Space can still be private.
- Open the Issue.
- Press
⌘,to open Issue settings. - Click the Privacy tab.
- Set privacy to Private.
The Issue is hidden from the community feed but remains visible to Space members.
Manage Contributors
Section titled “Manage Contributors”Contributors to your public Space do not become members of your Space. Manage access from Settings > People:
- View all members and their roles.
- Change a member’s role or remove access.
- Review pending access requests under the Requests tab.
AI Teammate Behavior in Public Spaces
Section titled “AI Teammate Behavior in Public Spaces”AI Teammates in public Spaces operate in community mode automatically:

No configuration required. Your AI Teammate reads Space context and operates accordingly.
