Assign an AI Teammate to a Socra so it responds when you post updates or chat.

Assign an AI Teammate

  1. Open the Socra in the detail view.
  2. Click the assignee field in the details panel.
  3. Select an AI Teammate from the dropdown. AI Teammates appear alongside team members.

The AI Teammate’s name and avatar appear in the assignee field.

How Assigned AI Teammates Work

Assigned AI Teammates are reactive: they respond when new messages or updates are posted on the Socra. They do not run in the background or monitor the Socra on their own.

When triggered, an assigned AI Teammate can:

  • Update the Socra’s content
  • Post timeline entries
  • Change status, priority, assignee, or due date
  • Create new Socras
  • Move Socras between Journeys

Send a message in the chat sidebar to give the AI Teammate instructions. It works the same way as any chat conversation.

Reassign

Section titled “Reassign”
  1. Click the assignee field.
  2. Select a different AI Teammate or team member.

The new assignee takes over. Previous messages and context remain on the Socra.
