Settings
Customize your socra experience and manage account preferences.
socra settings are organized into two main categories: Account settings that apply to your personal profile across all spaces, and Space settings that are specific to each space you’re a member of.
Account Settings
Section titled “Account Settings”Account settings affect your personal profile and preferences across all spaces.
Account (General)
Section titled “Account (General)”Avatar:
- Upload and manage your profile picture
Personal Information:
- Name: Your display name visible to other users
- Username: Your unique identifier (@username)
- Email: Your account email address
- Birthday: Optional personal information
- Location: City/Country information
- Joined: Shows when you created your account (read-only)
Security:
- Password: Change your account password
- Delete Account: Permanently delete your account and all data
Preferences
Section titled “Preferences”Theme:
- Dark Mode: Dark interface theme
- Light Mode: Light interface theme
- Visual previews help you choose the right theme
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”Email Preferences:
- Space Activity: Receive emails for activity related to you in your spaces
- Weekly Progress Updates: Receive emails detailing your weekly progress
- Onboarding: Content to help you get started with socra
- Trial: Updates during your free trial period
- socra Updates: Updates about new features and improvements
- Newsletter: Latest news and updates from socra
- Research and Feedback: Participate in research and provide feedback
- Unsubscribe from all emails: Opt out of all non-essential emails
Space Settings
Section titled “Space Settings”Space settings are specific to each space and vary based on your role (guest, member, admin, owner).
General
Section titled “General”Basic Information (Members, Admins, Owners only):
- Space Avatar: Upload and manage the space’s profile picture
- Space Name: The display name for the space
- Username: The space’s unique identifier (@spacename)
Danger Zone:
- Leave Space: Remove yourself from the space
- Delete Space: (Owners only) Permanently delete the space
Context
Section titled “Context”Journey Context:
- Manage context and background information for the space’s main journey
- Configure how the space’s AI assistant understands and works with your content
Members
Section titled “Members”People Management:
- Members: View and manage space members with full access
- Guests: View and manage users with limited access
- Invites: Manage pending invitations to the space
- Requests: Handle requests to join the space
Role Management:
- Promote or demote members between guest, member, admin roles
- Remove users from the space
- Send invitations to new collaborators
Billing (Admins and Owners of subscribed spaces only)
Section titled “Billing (Admins and Owners of subscribed spaces only)”Subscription Details:
- View current plan and billing information
- See subscription status and next billing date
- Access billing history and invoices
Payment Management:
- Update payment methods
- Change billing intervals (monthly/yearly)
- Manage billing address
Plan Management:
- For Free Spaces: “Upgrade plan” - Choose and upgrade to a paid plan
- For Subscribed Spaces: “Explore plans” - View available plans and features
- Compare plan features and pricing
- Upgrade or downgrade subscription
Resources
Section titled “Resources”Company Information:
- Links to company pages (About Us, Our Story, Our Team)
- Feature releases and updates
- Resources like guides, chat room, and pricing
System Information:
- App version
- API version
- User and space identifiers (for debugging)
Support Resources:
- Help Center documentation
- Ask questions and get support
- View policies and legal information
- Access detailed documentation
Feedback:
- Give feedback on the platform
- Suggest new features
- Report bugs and issues
- Share ideas for improvements
Logout
Section titled “Logout”- Sign out of your account safely
Access Control
Section titled “Access Control”Settings visibility and functionality depend on your role:
- Guests: Can only view General space settings
- Members: Can access General, Context, and Members settings
- Admins: Can access all settings including Billing (for subscribed spaces)
- Owners: Have full access to all settings including space deletion
